OUR STORY, TEAM, & MISSION

With a mission to fight climate change, a group of inventors, engineers, tinkerers, and outdoor enthusiasts came together in January 2019 to form Skyhook Solar. After less than one year of development, the team launched the first Solar Station in December 2019, deploying in Denver, and then at the Aspen X-Games in January 2020. Since then, the company has deployed Solar Stations in 10 cities in the USA, Canada, and Europe.

We recognize the need for climate action and the importance of getting more renewable solar power into urban and rural areas. Our Skyhook Solar Station is leading the charge: Approved for long-term use within city pedestrian right-of-way and compatible with modern electric vehicles of all sizes.
